Flora, the owner, immediately made us feel welcome with her friendly demeanor. She even let us pick our breakfast time, which was a bonus for our little one's unpredictable schedule. The hotel's location is practical-just a short walk from the archaeology site of Herculaneum and easily accessible to the local train station. Remember to get off at Ercolano Scavi; it's much simpler than navigating the alternate stop. We enjoyed mornings on the charming shaded patio, surrounded by vibrant flowers. It was peaceful for me to relax with a book while my child played nearby, with the resident rescue cats providing entertaining company. Plus, the hotel is situated near several restaurants and a supermarket, so we never went hungry. I found the area to have a lovely hiking trail, allowing us to explore the rich natural surroundings. The Golden Hotel offers a warm and inclusive environment that families will appreciate during their travels in southern Italy.
